About
Our City Impact Church Childcare Centre is in the Church building, right on the border of Albany and Browns Bay on East Coast Road. It is just minutes away from the Oteha motorway on-ramp, Albany Mall and industrial areas, as well as the popular Browns Bay Beach and shops.
Our newly purpose-built and well-resourced Centre provides learning spaces that are light, bright, elegant and inviting. We cater for children ages three months up to school age with separate rooms tailored for the ages and stages of the children. We provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for children to grow and flourish. Our qualified staff come from different backgrounds and cultures and are committed to ensuring every child and family experiences a genuine sense of welcome and belonging. While our Christian faith is an important part of who we are, families from all backgrounds are warmly welcomed into our centre community.
At City Impact Church Childcare, we believe childcare should be both high-quality and hassle-free. That’s why our daily fee includes nutritious meals and snacks, along with nappies and wipes, ensuring your child has everything they need throughout the day. It’s one of the many ways we partner with families and help make busy mornings just a little bit easier.
Underpinned by our Biblical Curriculum and the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum-Te Whaariki, our programs are designed to create learning opportunities and experiences for the overall growth and development of the children. We instil a love of learning to help children prepare for school and beyond. We support every child to nurture and grow in their unique God-given identities and be confident in who they are.
Our son genuinely looks forward to going every day, which says so much about the warm and nurturing environment the teachers have created. They are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's wellbeing and development.
The school readiness program has been outstanding. We've seen such a positive change in our son's confidence, independence, and love of learning. His growth over the past year has been amazing, and we're so grateful for the encouragement and support he's received.

One of the things we value most is the Christian teaching and values that are woven throughout the programme. It provides such a positive foundation for our children and aligns beautifully with what we teach at home.
We have seen wonderful development in our children since attending. The teachers take the time to identify areas where they can grow and then work intentionally to support and develop those skills. We truly appreciate the open communication and partnership between parents and teachers. It feels like a genuine team effort, with everyone working together to help our children thrive.
Our eldest recently started primary school, and we are so grateful for the wonderful foundation that City Impact Church Childcare provided. The teachers helped prepare him academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually for this next phase of his life, making the transition to school a smooth and positive experience.

Positive:
The wife and I are very picky, we spent many many moons deliberating the expansive list of benefits when considering a day dwelling for the recently birthed human. After spinning a wheel with 57 ECE centers in the area, a moon-bean shone down on us as the wheel stopped on CIC NS ECE BE SSC Centre. Since that fateful day, our child of Mitosis has flourished in this supportive, educational and positive emotion stuff even though the tinny human expels waste while in motion.
Negatives:
They don't currently provide extracurricular activities such as sky-diving, spear fishing or deep sea volcano exploration, but I am told this is something they are enquiring further into.

Kia Ora, my name is Almira Remon and I am a mother of three lovely children. My husband and I migrated to New Zealand in 2009. I am a qualified and fully registered teacher and have been part of the Education Sector for more than 20 years. I have had the privilege to work here at City Impact Church since 2010.

Hi, my name is Paulene, and I find it a privilege to be working as an administrator at City Impact Church Childcare. Since starting on staff in 2012, I have journeyed from being a Teacher to a Team Leader and am now loving my role as the Centre Administrator. Our centre is grounded in Christian values, where we can integrate our Christian faith into every aspect of learning and growth, and this is what I am passionate about.
